Conflict in and of itself is neither good nor bad. How conflict is managed, however, often determines the outcome. To promote a conflict competent culture that is resilient, flexible and collaborative, the Office of the Ombuds offers customized workshops and training. All workshops and training are designed to meet the learning needs of a particular group. Available topics include conflict management, negotiation, communication, dealing with difficult people, preparing for important conversations, manager as mediator, giving and receiving feedback, and more.
